Course Instructor:

Rebecca Kullback, LCSW-C is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant with over 25 years of clinical experience specializing in trauma, dissociation, and attachment. She is the co-founder of Metropolitan Counseling Associates and has advanced training in DBT, CPT, structural dissociation, and family systems. Rebecca has served as a clinical supervisor and faculty member at the Catholic University School of Social Work, and regularly trains clinicians in trauma-informed care. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to accurate assessment, ethical practice, and empowering sustainable healing through evidence-based interventions.

When does the course start and finish?
This course consists of 6 3 hour modules on Monday mornings from 9am-noon The live trainings will begin on Monday September 15 at 9am. How long do I have access to the course?
You will have access to the course through teachable until June 1 2026
Can I cancel my registration for a refund?
Cancellations prior to June 1, 2025 will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations prior to August 1, will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations after August 1, 2025 will not be refunded. Students who cancel after August 1, 2025 will receive access to the slide presentations, written materials and course recordings. We cannot guarantee any CEU credits for on demand learning. However, application is pending for CEU approval for an on demand version of this course
How is the course structured
The course combines six live, online training modules, each three hours in length, featuring a blend of lecture, presentation, interactive discussion, and applied practice. In addition to the live sessions, students will have access to self-paced learning materials designed to deepen their understanding and enhance practical application. This content will be hosted on the Teachable platform and made available one week prior to each corresponding live session. Students will also receive printable resources through Teachable, allowing them to build a comprehensive library of clinical tools and assessments to support effective client work.
Do I need to have prior experience as a trauma therapist?
This course is designed for clinicians with a minimum of a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field. While it is intended for graduate-level professionals, no prior experience or specialized training in trauma therapy is required, participants will be guided through foundational concepts and clinical applications from the ground up.
Does the course provide supervision or EMDR consultation?
This course does not include direct clinical supervision or EMDR consultation. However, participants will be equipped with the insight and foundational knowledge needed to identify their ongoing professional development goals and pursue the appropriate long-term support to strengthen their trauma-informed practice.
